The Operations Division coordinates all emergency response functions. Fire & EMS personnel operate from strategically located stations to maintain rapid response times across Silver Falls neighborhoods, riverfront districts, industrial corridors, and surrounding rural edges.
Each station maintains engine companies, ambulance units, and quick-response vehicles designed to address varied terrain and conditions. Crews complete daily readiness inspections, hands-on training, and regional coordination drills to ensure operational readiness at all times.
Fire Stations include:
- Station 1 – Headquarters (220 South River Avenue): Primary fire suppression, EMS transport, specialty rescue.
- Station 2 – Northbank Station: Wildland and riverbank response support, residential district coverage.
- Station 3 – Greenwood Ridge Station: Heavy rescue and secondary coverage for the southern perimeter.
Operations personnel respond to all-hazard emergencies, including structure fires, medical calls, vehicle accidents, water rescues, and storm damage incidents. Mutual-aid agreements allow collaboration with nearby cities and rural service districts to ensure resource availability during major events.
